Kaleidoscope's mission is "To be an instrument of enrichment, enhancement, and enlightenment, through the creation of quality theatrical experiences." Kaleidoscope is an independent production group, artistically, financially, and managerially, and was founded by four energetic, inspired, and ambitious local artists striving to produce, design, and perform with a fresh sense of dedication and commitment to the theatrical arts.

The 2010-2011 season marks the ninth anniversary of Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions. Founded by energetic, inspired, and ambitious local artists striving to produce, design, and perform with a fresh sense of dedication and commitment to the theatrical arts, the company has grown into a high quality production house and has received numerous accolades and award nominations. Kaleidoscope Theatre Productions is a member of the Theatre District Association, the Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County, the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo, and has been a Mainstage Production for Curtain Up! since 2004. Kaleidoscope seeks to be an instrument of enrichment, enhancement, and enlightenment through the creation of quality theatrical experiences.
