The Mission of the Irish Classical Theatre Company is to present the greatest works of dramatic literature: international classics, modern plays of exceptional merit, and Irish plays, both traditional and contemporary; to produce them at the highest level of artistic excellence; to offer them to the public of Buffalo and Western New York and Southern Ontario, and subsequently, for national and international audiences.

The Irish Classical Theatre Company, quite literally, brings a world of theatre within reach by presenting world-class productions on stage at its permanent home, the Andrews Theatre, the area’s only true theatre-in-the round. At the Andrews, you’re never more than twenty feet from the stage. Under the leadership of Co-Founder and Artistic Director Vincent O’Neill, ICTC will mark its twentieth anniversary season in 2009-2010 with exciting initiatives including the Mr. & Mrs. Frank J. McGuire International Playwriting Competition, supported in part by the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, which will bring worldwide attention to Western New York as ICTC identifies a truly exceptional new Irish play and presents its world premiere production as a major theatrical event in its 2010-2011 Season.
