The Mission of the Irish Classical Theatre Company is to present the greatest works of dramatic literature: international classics, modern plays of exceptional merit, and Irish plays, both traditional and contemporary; to produce them at the highest level of artistic excellence; to offer them to the public of Buffalo and Western New York and Southern Ontario, and subsequently, for national and international audiences.
About Irish Classical Theatre Company
The Irish Classical Theatre Company, quite literally, brings a world of theatre within reach by presenting world-class productions on stage at its permanent home, the Andrews Theatre, the area’s only true theatre-in-the round. At the Andrews, you’re never more than twenty feet from the stage.
To enhance your total theatre experience, the Chris O'Neill Lounge offers hospitality in a comfortable, congenial atmosphere before, at intermission and after the show.
ICTC's 2016-2017 Season includes a wide array of plays by iconic playwrights, including a unique co-production of Peter Shaffer's international sensation of stage and screen, Amadeus, with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of JoAnn Falletta, at Kleinhans Music Hall. The play unfolds as the BPO performs Mozart's glorious compositions, including parts of his Requiem - a perfect fusion of two brilliant art forms.
ICTC Artistic Director Vincent O'Neill stars as Salieri. ICTC Producing Director Fortunato directs. Amadeus will be presented for three performances only, January 20, 21 and 22, 2017.
