Legendary Irish playwright and co-founder of Ireland’s Abbey Theatre, John Millington Synge, takes us on a delightful romp through the fantasy life of a small Irish village.  Christy Mahon, a young man who runs away from his farm to a small pub in town claiming to have killed his father, is hailed as a hero by the locals and catches the romantic attention of feisty barmaid, Pegeen Mike.  Then the fun really begins.
