In the waning days of the Roman Empire, the tides of history irrevocably shift when Julian, the impassioned pagan Emperor of Rome, attempts to thwart the advance of Christianity. The production explores the question of when does a philosopher become a tyrant and how does faith become dangerous zeal for two connected yet opposing religions?

Based on the un-produced translation by Ibsen scholar Brian Johnson, this original adaptation is by local award winning playwright Neil Wechsler. In this exciting production an ensemble cast of 12 actors will bring this epic story to life in the versatile environment of Torn Space.

Location: The Adam Mickiewicz Dramatic Circle, 612 Fillmore Ave.
