Professionals and students in the Buffalo region interested in working with companies in the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo and meeting local industry professionals are welcome to attend the first TAB Designer and Technician Forum on Monday, April 30, 2018. This forum will be held at Road Less Traveled Productions, located at 500 Pearl St. Buffalo, NY 14202 from 6-8pm.

Designers and technicians from all disciplines are encouraged to attend, including but not limited to: lighting, sound, costume, stage management, properties, carpentry and tech directors.

Participants will be provided with presentation space to display their work, a table, and electrical access for any digital needs (with exception of extension cords - please provide your own). Directors and technical staff representatives from TAB member theaters will attend and tour presenters’ work, mingling and meeting participants, creating a valuable networking opportunity in a casual professional setting for the upcoming theater season.

This event aims to fill a void in the Buffalo theater community that the TAB auditions provide for the performing population - a means for connecting regional technical skill to local employment across the 24 member theaters in the Theatre Alliance of Buffalo.
